Project descriptionEEY is a 6-day training for trainers on Human Rights Education (HRE) and Non-Formal Education (NFE), which aims to develop the competences of the participants (pax) to become active as trainers in European youth projects within the framework of DBYN.
This training course has been postponed. New date: 2-8 November 2020. The new deadline for registration is the 15th of August 2020. Training programmeThe trainers will build a specific training programme based on the needs of the participants. For this the participants will need to complete a personal assessment form as part of their registration. As we will explore experiential learning and peer education in the training course, it is likely that the participants will be asked to prepare training session in advance, which they deliver during the training course themselves.

A training strengthening youth work and young people
EEY is a training courses targeting an important category of volunteers in our member organisations.
The project aims to train new trainers in delivering Human Rights Education and Non-Formal Education in the style of Don Bosco.
After the activity the participants should be able to deliver training sessions, courses, … on national level and international level. Participants can be invited to join the Pool of Trainers (PoT) of DBYN. In this way, we replenish the PoT with trainers bringing a new expertise. They will be active on the future activities of DBYN annual work plan, but as well on multilateral activities of our member organisations, on local activities of their home organisation and have access to PoTs of other platforms (European Youth Forum, SALTO, CoE, ...).

A specific role they can play here is the training, coaching and follow-up of international volunteers abroad, or mentoring of international volunteers who are carrying out a voluntary service in their local communities. We expect participants to be active in the member organisation (or in the past) and interested to implement the gained skills and competences.
